To the Editor,

I have known and worked with John Vorel for over 10 years and he is a dedicated and
hard working individual who is always concerned about doing the best for his clients or
constituents. John cares deeply about New Hampshire and he has worked in many ways
to make the living experience here better.

He has spent years working with and for the NH State Government as well as local
economic development efforts. Besides being GM of Gunstock for 9 years, helping to
rejuvenate Belknap Counties jewel of a Recreation Area, John worked tirelessly to bring
about the development and awareness of another Lakes Region jewel, Meadowbrook
Musical Arts Center.

I can not imagine a better person to serve the communities of Tilton and Sanbornton,
District 4, than John Vorel. I am sure he will bring strong leadership and innovation to the
NH State House of Representatives.

He has always done an outstanding job and he will make a great State Rep.

To the Editor,

I have known, and worked with, John Vorel for close to 10 years.

During that time, I have found him to be an intelligent, hard working, caring person.

John has the work ethic that is so sought after in today’s world. His background will aid the legislature in one of the State’s most important industries (tourism). John has also worked to build a business. Small business growth is a critical component in improving New Hampshire’s economy. Building a business, as you know, takes vision, planning, enthusiasm and energy.

John has built a business within our company that is centered around the people he serves. I have received numerous letters and phone calls commending John for delivering on the promises that he makes, as well as following through on the requests made of him. These are the exact attributes we need in a State Representative. District 4: Honor John with your vote – he will deliver.

To the Editor,

John Vorel is man of reason, intelligence, experience and commitment

Voters of Sanbornton and Tilton have an excellent candidate running to represent them in the state legislature from Belknap County District 4.

For almost 8 years I worked with John Vorel when he was instrumental in upgrading the state ski areas, as well as his work at the State Department of Resources and Development. I was also amazed at the fine job he did in developing the arts and entertainment scene in the Lakes Region. In all cases, John did not have bundles of money to work with. He had something better. A skill in building consensus around good ideas, whether they were his are those of others.

Business pundits say that meetings are places where minutes are taken, and hours are wasted. Anyone who has worked with John Vorel knows that the minutes of meetings he led are worth reading, and those who sat in his meetings never felt that a second was wasted.

John had tremendous vision concerning the issues facing New Hampshire in those years, as he does the same today. He listens and provides vision centered on what can be done, and what needs to be done. Given today’s unique challenges of job creation in the response to the enormous opioid challenges, I would highly recommend that the voters of district for select a candidate who is a person of measured thought, and humane action.

The size of the New Hampshire legislature is as much a burden as it is a virtue of our great state. The office of representative requires someone who is a great listener, and then a reasoned leader. It would be of little surprise to me that John would rise quickly in the legislature as his knowledge and skills are superb.

Now, should any voters think that this letter is a puff-piece for John Vorel, rest assured that in my years as manager of the state of New Hampshire Tourism and Economic Development advertising account, John and I did not always agree on every issue. However, we always did seem to listen to and learn from each other’s opinions and recommendations. The end product of those engagements proved to be the bedrock of the fine advertising and marketing program that the state employees, and our visitors constantly remark about.

In total, John is a man of reason, intelligence, experience and commitment. District 4 could not have a better candidate than John Vorel.
